This might be the best deal to get Okoro to Lakers.

Garland, Mitchell, Strus, Mobley, Allen -- DLo, Merrill, Niang, Rui, Vando

Reaves, Okoro, Knecht, LeBron, Davis -- Vincent, LeVert, Christie, Wade, Wood

Those salaries aren’t really close to matching. You’d have to add Niang as well to make salaries match. Cavs would also probably want Wood inserted as well. Cavs can’t just take back 9 million extra in more money nor would they for what they’d be getting. Can the Cavs not just sign Okoro and trade him why would he have to sign with Lakers to facilitate?

The Cavs could withdraw the Q.O. and S&T with Bird Rights but you get back to what's the least he would agree to S&T for so it doesn't get you anywhere. If the Lakers just sign him outright, it would have to be for the tax MLE. Any Okoro to the Lakers scenario basically became impossible when DLo opted in.

I don't like the deal at all. I'd rather have Wade over Rui, and LeVert over DLo. Okoro for Vando is a little more interesting, but I'm still going with Okoro there.

Cavs get a bigger SF that can grow with the core and floor spacing big.

Lakers - Get an elite defender against PG/SG that they lack. Dump Vincent and get a cheaper backup pg. plus get an elite shooter who could be even better to play with LeBron.

Not sure what picks you have but it’d have to be something like Garland, Niang, and Jerome for Dlo, Knecht, Rui, Vanderbilt, and Wood maybe picks.
