Not sure that Golden State should pay a first to maybe or maybe not upgrade Wiggins to Grant. Jerami is (usually) a better all-around player, but he isn't so much better that he vaults the Warriors any higher in the standings, IMO. Eh, if they can't do any better, I suppose he's a fit.

Send Wiggins to Atlanta for Capela. Getting a veteran center to work with Clingan and allow Ayton to be moved.

Portland could trade Ayton today if he has any value. Sign some vet min center and still have Reath and Timelord on the roster..

I would think Atlanta’s offer for Wiggins would be Hunter and Nance for Wiggins and whatever small contract..

After drafting a forward, I’m not sure if there’s much interest in either Grant or Wiggins, but I think Atlanta would just pay to turn Hunter into Grant and cut out GSW..

How muchndoes Grant still play SF?
What do you see as the cost for Atlanta to turn Hunter into Grant? Considering Grant's contract amount and length and his age vs Hunter's?
Hawks are taking on more salary over the 1st 3 yrs (~$7 mil per) plus the extra year of $36 mil.

I don’t know. But if you want the better player, I think it costs something to get it?

Maybe there’s a team that still gives an asset up for Hunter though and Atlanta wouldn’t need to pay anything - as you say Grant is older and more expensive.

Neither guy has much value, just think the talent wins here.

So maybe it’s just a third team giving up a first for Hunter with negative salary going to Portland, but Atlanta adding seconds to that thirdteam? Or maybe it’s Atlanta giving up the Sac first and a third team sending 2nds to Atlanta?

But yeah, Atlanta just drafted a forward so I’m not sure there’s much interest in either one for Atlanta. Think they should be looking to upgrade Bogdan into a player that makes you happy to have Dyson as the third guard. That feels the best way to kill the pick debt clock and upgrade the roster around Trae.. Unless you can find a superstar center.
