Not sure if the "Ayton to be moved" are true
LBall/Vuc/Port 1st back for Ayton and another salary
Bulls could throw in DTerry if necessary
Port gets a solid mentor for Clingon, their pick back and an expiring in Ball
Chi gets an upgrade on defense and younger
Port-Chi

kinda interesting, on one hand Aytons value is low but on other hand Vuc has as long of a contract and has prob even less value. Still think the Bulls wouldn’t be that into this, though.

Yeah, Chicago feels the right team for Ayton IMO. His contract won’t be an issue for them and once they realize he doesn’t help win games, they can pretend they tried.
I think Portland really wants a third team here, but should do it as is.
Thybulle feels like the right added piece.

Vuc being an 18/10 guy 2 years away from his last non-minimum contract, I can’t imagine him wanting to be a mentor or wanting to sit out games Portland will want him to sit for tanking sake. He’ll likely want his numbers and to prove he can stay healthy most of the season. So I agree that a 3rd team would be ideal.
And if Portland is adding Thybulle, I imagine they want another couple 2nds added to this.

Re: Port-Chi
Send Vuc elsewhere and have Portland and Chicago attach seconds to do it. I'd take Ball and Portland's pick back for Ayton. Saves money, frees up picks for trading (even though Portland is unlikely to move picks), and offers the extreme outside chance that Ball is salvageable.

No thanks, would rather hope the pick conveys than take this deal from Chicago's POV.

Ayton would help our D, get us younger and move on from Vuc. I do think Port would like Vuc as a mentor to Clingan.
Any way we could do this
Vuc/Ball/Port 1st back to Blazers
Ayton to Bulls
Tybulle or RWill absorbed by 3rd team with TPE, or a smaller expiring to Chic?

As I noted above, I'd rather keep Thybulle/Williams and move Vuc to the third team, with Portland and Chicago each paying a second rounder or equivalent to get it done. If there's a team that would take Williams, surely they'd take Vuc and seconds instead? That said, I definitely give your version consideration with Williams.
Question is: who's the third team?

So..
Ayton and Martin to Chicago
Richards, Ball, Portland first to Portland
Vuc and a couple seconds to CLT
