Re: Denver - Cleveland - Orlando
I like the deal a lot, I don't think it has a chance because KCP left DEN as a FA, but who knows, maybe ORL and DEN start slow and look for an upgrade.
Defense wins draft lotteries!

I dont think anybody was offering them cap relief + a 1st for MPJ
I'm talking about just dumping his contract. If they really wanted out of it that badly they could have found a way. They seem to be committed to him though.
Who would have taken his deal though?
Don't think even Bulls would swap LaVine straight up for MPJ.
I have MPJ as having more value just do role, usage, and height. Not everyone can play off ball and still function at a high level. Some players aren't even willing to try.
If you're looking for an accelerated rebuild, I'd rather have MPJ.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

IMO, Garland has neutral value with his contract. I don't think a pick is needed.

Well, the Cavs aren't currently looking to move Garland so it seems like the easiest solution would be for the Magic to look elsewhere. The Lakers are open to moving Dlo for example. Less expensive and expiring.
