The Wizards are already full of developing young forwards (Coulibaly, George, Kispert, plus Sarr who will play some forward) and have no real interest in adding a veteran role player with a contract that extends until 2026. I'd rather keep Bagley who actually played very well last year for the Wizards, and, if nothing else, is a large expiring contract that could be useful as a trade chip.
