Heat and Clippers

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Sat Nov 9, 2024 11:02 am

MIA TRADES: Robinson, Rozier, Herro, Highsmith, Ware

LAC TRADES: Kawhi, Harden, Porter Jr.

Heat take a chance on Kawhi and build a big 3 with Butler........

Clipps, realizing their spinning in place, get off their biggest deals and decide to rebuild/reboot

rebuild and reboot with what, exactly? they don't have picks to rebuild with. being worse and taking on expensive contracts without incentive doesn't get them anywhere

Clippers get off $20M in 26-27, while taking on an extra $17M for 25-26, assuming Robinson is waived, which means $10M of dead salary and an extra $23M this. (At work, doing quick math, so if I'm off, then ignore what else is said)

Yeah, rather take the gamble on Kawhi being available for a playoff run instead of a player redundant to Norm and a poo-poo platter.
