What do you believe this does for Dallas? Takes away defense and shooting and brings in a 3rd player who needs the ball who is clearly worse on ball than the two they already have.

Not sure its great for Minny who loses a needed offense creator, but at least the pieces come in fit anywhere.

That just makes Dallas' D even worse and Randle doesnt fit with Luka/Kyrie

I wish there was a deal out there where Dallas could turn Gaff into Herb Jones (i know the gap is too huge to fill). Then trade Klay (or Grimes or whatever) for the best backup center you could get.

Yes it gives you a 3rd option that provides more size.
Instead of having a poorer defender at the SF spot (Klay), you now have them at the PF spot. Means you can have a strong defender at the 2 or 3 starting. Naji or Grimes or Exum.

Yeah Minny probably struggle losing that offensive creator.
