Cavs trade: Caris LeVert, Jaylon Tyson and '25 Bucks srp
Bulls trade: Patrick Williams and Dalen Terry
Why?
Cavs gamble on Williams, adding size on the wing. Terry is intriguing as well.
Bulls unload Williams without attaching a premium asset, get a solid guard prospect, and a high 2nd rounder in a strong draft.
Trade is possible after Dec 15th.

Re: Cavs / Bulls
Doubt Chicago sees a need to "unload" Williams when they just willingly gave him that contract. Maybe they have buyer's remorse already but this is not how Chicago operates. They hold on to guys they invest in.

The Bulls do have Buzelis waiting on the wings (no pun intended). Also, they're getting actual value in return.

Re: Cavs / Bulls
your description was they unload him without attaching a premium asset. That suggests a dump. Especially since the "incentive" is so meager. Tyson isn't worth much more than Terry and a 2nd rounders. Its definitely valued as them getting off his deal.

Yeah, I placed a lot of value on them dumping his contract without having to attach a premium asset to him, while getting a very good prospect and another strong asset (Bucks 2nd rounder).

I would not do LeVert straight-up.

Re: Cavs / Bulls
Williams might not have advanced the way the Bulls hoped but playing or not he's also not what's holding the team back. With the trade of Caruso you're talking about their best defensive player and they've only got Dosunmu with him in that category.
