NOP - MIN: Ingram for Randle

Post#1 » by MessiahUjiri » Mon Dec 2, 2024 3:54 pm

Minnesota needs a jolt of energy and another creator at PF.

New Orleans needs front court help, and they don’t seem like they’re open to tanking this year.

Ingram for Randle

2 talented and flawed players, swapping places to boost their underperforming teams.

Ingram makes more than Randle and Minny is far above first apron and cant aggregate so its DOA

36 mil Ingram
33 mil Randle
Works on espn tradechecker

But if not allowed, CJ makes just 300k more. CJ work?

No. As a 2nd apron team the Wolves can't take back a dollar more.

Hard to imagine a worse frontcourt pairing than Zion and Randle

True, New Orleans needs front court help. However what they need in front court is not what Randle can provide. His defense is beyond awful and we dont need another chucker on offense.

He’s basically a small ball C, with Herb Jones and Trey Murphy at the F spots. He can also share the court with Missi as a defensive C. I’m gonna leave Zion out for now, but basically if Zion returns, they can be a duo PF as bully ball.

NOP can have reasonable defense between DJM & Herb & Missi.

Locking for this reason only. I know its tough OP to keep up with these new CBA restrictions so I feel your pain. But no real way to solve this without dumping money for the Wolves elsewhere which is beyond the scope of this deal.
