Prefer to use GP2 warriors so warriors can sign 2ways to fill out roster spots plus Loon has been reliable playoff performer they might resign

If I’m Steph I’d be pretty pissed if this was the move to show me you are committed to going for another title.

Dubs have to do way more than Vuc.

Oh I 100% agree. Part of the appeal here is that it keeps our major assets intact (Kuminga/Podz/1st round picks) to make a bigger deal if the opportunity arises

As a Bulls fan it seems fair.

Expirings and 2nds for Vuc (including one of the expiring being a center which Chicago will need).

Vuc is playing very good this year - but it'd be unwise to let that alter the asking price for him too much.

You take the savings and the picks and run.

Yep, one deal doesn't preclude something else. And Steph is both smart and in lockstep with the organization. They would never present this to him as the final move towards one more title run.

Nothing wrong with improving on the margins while you look for that major move to become available. Dallas certainly benefited last year from a couple of similar level additions in Washington and Gafford. Would they have rather traded for Spurs Kawhi? Oh absolutely. But....
