1. With Ball and Miller on the team, they have young studs trying to win.
2. An offense that produces a lot of 3-pointers, but not a lot of paint-generated offense.
2. They have defensive centers who can cover for Randle on that end.

idk if Charlotte would completely be against it but we would probably want compensation for taking him on since it is clear Minny is in a rush to dump him. His fit isn't all that great as he is already 30 and his contract situation is a bit dicey, Miller and LaMelo are 22 and 23 yrs old.

Some MIN posters may be in a rush to dump him, but (as always) we haven’t heard anything from the guy that matters, Tim Connelly. TC is always up for a trade, but he just traded Towns to acquire Randle (and DDV). At worst, Randle is an expiring, or a reasonably priced expiring next season if he picks up his $31 mil player option. Chris Finch really wanted to see what he could do with Randle.

I would be very surprised if Connelly gave up compensation to dump his expiring, or even traded him for longterm questionable salaries.

Hopefully people from other fan bases understand that the person pushing the hardest to get rid of Randle has also posted interest in an Anthony Edwards trade, which would be a complete non-starter for the organization.

Here it is:

Houston gets Capela, nance, sac 2025 first.
Atlanta gets Randle and a couple of seconds from Houston.
Minnesota gets Landale, JeffGreen, holiday, Tate, LAL 2025 first (protected top 12, becomes four seconds).
Houston gives up four quality backups, two at c and pf as minny needs. Gets a pick, keeps future cap clear.
Atl gets scorer.
Minnesota gets depth and a pick.

The initial Pistons offer I would think abut for Minnesota is Stewart and Hardaway.
