Heat get Collins
Jazz get Rozier, Thomas Bryant, and Lakers 2026 2nd rd pick
Why?
Heat bring Collins home to pair in the front court with Bam. He offers spacing, athletic big that can help with the Heat’s rebounding. He is also young enough to fit the Heat’s post Jimmy build. This move also opens up roster spot to sign Dru Smith from his two way.
Jazz free up a few million next year and get a 2026 LAL 2nd pick to add to their pick arsenal. They can let Rozier play as a 6th man or flip him to a third team or flip Clarkson for assets. This would also free up PT for the younger frontcourt players.

Could probably get an asset or two for any one of the three. I agree I doubt all 3 would be on the team for an extended period of time.

Not sure why they put themselves in a situation where teams know they need to move one of them. None of those players holds much value so putting yourself intentionally in negative bargaining position just for a 26 2nd seems kinda pointless.
Heat would be better served finding a team that could actually use Rozier. Here any value he might still hold just kinda falls away.

If Rozier could return an asset, I'm sure Miami would have already traded him. Right now it looks like a much worse contract than John Collins'.

Yeah, 100% agree with that. Their is no reason for the Jazz to take Scary Terry..Texas Chuck wrote:ThaFranchize84 wrote:HornetJail wrote:i'm not seeing what the Jazz do with Rozier, Sexton, and Clarkson on the same roster

Re: Heat-Jazz
I dont see this from either side. The HEAT don't need / want Collins and Terry makes no sense from Utah's perspective.
