If you brought us an offer of a pick in possibly between 10-20 we would look into trading Sharpe. If not, we do not want to trade him at this moment as we have spent a lot of time, effort, and money working on improving his game and health. We want to see how he plays the rest of this season before we commit to trading him. But, if you had a deal in the works here for an unprotected pretty much for sure lottery pick for this or next season we would likely do it.

They want to hold out for great picks or solid young players that fit their positional needs as they move into next season. Charlotte has a PG and a Wing they would discuss but they are off the table. I do not think the BK and CHA franchises have a trade opportunity this season and that is why I held out JMAC3. There was nothing here. But, I am not mad at you for trying man. This was fun and it's all LOVE.

Yes, we discussed players I believe Peterson would value for Hornets roster needs in descending value:

Cam Johnson
Nic Claxton
Day'Ron

All players have nice qualities that would make any make-pretend GM happy given mutual agreement on cost.

Recap

Nets no on Mann as centerpiece player for Cam Johnson. Heat 2027 1st + Mavs 2027 1st do not move the needle.

Hornets pivot to Jerami Grant as a cheaper alternative that does not cost core players (LaMelo, Miller, M. Williams) nor 1st round pick.

Nets no on Mann as centerpiece player for Nic Claxton, PG1 for C1.

Hornets pivot to Sharpe as C2.

Nets no on Sharpe for picks 32 & 35 in 2025.

Hornets hold Mann and Nick Richards.

Open offer is contingent on 3rd team sending 2025 1st for Micic + 32 + 35, 1st routed to Nets with Sharpe going to Charlotte.

If accepted and Sharpe passes physical exam, Charlotte moves Nick Richards for 1st round pick to mystery team on the line.

Locking this because I don't want to have moderate all the silliness itt. I will just say you don't get to claim a private conversation on here. If you want that, use PM. But if you post others are allowed to respond to you. You are free to ignore them of course, but don't tell them to butt out.

But some of you should avoid topics involving your favorite team on anything but a fan board. You want only to have your players be loved as much as you and to insult those who don't. Find an echo chamber or handle different opinions without all the silliness please.
