When the Warriors start winning games again perhaps you will reconsider your opinion about Schroeder's worth.

Schroeder traded value was what was being discussed.

Most said it was a few 2nds.
A few others said it was Kuminga AND a 1st which most laughed at.

And now with the trade, we know EXACTLY who was right.

But keep digging.

The Warriors got a steal.

The Nets were hasty.

While you may have guessed the trade outcome it doesn't make you the expert on Schroeder or Kuminga's value at the trade deadline.

Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Last time DS was playing well and traded, he was moved for the 28th pick in the draft. The league knows who Schroeder is. It was only Nets fans who thought 30 games would dramatically change his value...that's just naive.

And that was 5 years ago.

Reality is, DS has been traded 3 times in less than 3 years and not once has returned a 1st. We all knew his value except a delusional few.

The proposed deal was for both Schroeder and DFS.

How is that a "fact" and not just an rumor?

It was in the OP of the thread.

The proposed trade was for both DFS and Schroeder with Melton, Kuminga, and a first coming back.

Accusing me of wanting a first and Kuminga for just Scroeder was simply untrue.

So yes I was stating facts.

This is the OP's proposed deal

Warriors get:
Dennis Schroder (13.02m)
Ziaire Williams (6.13m)

Nets get:
DeAnthony Melton (12.82m)
Jonathan Kuminga (7.63m)
Warriors 2026 1st, top 4 protected

What are you talking about?

I'm not really sure how you landed on that argument

I'm saying Schroder is likely to be worth more than that to the team. And is also a lot more likely to be retained than JK. That the Warriors got him for much less is great, but what he actually brings to the team is important

By saying Dennis more valuable than Kuminga or a first, and the Warriors dealt three seconds, in 26,28&29 while getting one back in 25 (that could potentially be better than those they gave up to boot).

So why wouldn't the Warriors want what they gave for two pieces that are worth less?

At least get the facts right.

Glad it cost less, but I'd also wager that Schroder is far more valuable than JK and the 1st..

I have the facts fully right, Dennis didn't hold the value as many Brooklyn fans assigned him. Nor does he hold more value than Kuminga and a first.
