I don’t think Grant does much for the Bucks and is north of 30 too with a big contract, Khris is a better player when he plays. I think I’d pass too

I suggest Simons to ORL weekly, for years now, so I like him…but, if POR gives him a raise…he might as well pay off that mortgage and settle in, because he’s all yours.

I have always presumed his next deal will be for less…as he has shown himself to be a very limited player who puts up big numbers on occasion. I’m good with that profile, but his next deal (and role) should be smaller, imo…unless something ‘clicks’ for him and he becomes a shred of a defender and more of a guy who lifts his team. I’m not knocking him- this is just where I thought everyone was at in his valuation. People on ORL board commonly respond with, “he sucks” for one reason or another, followed by “and he’s going to be due a huge raise”. Huh?

I'd probably do the Simons trade for Detroit, start Beasley next to Cade (we should anyway) and have Simons and Sasser off the bench, then shop Ivey.
