Marjon Beauchamp For Free!

Post#1 » by WiscoKing13 » Wed Dec 18, 2024 4:58 pm

Bucks are at 15 roster spots and already declined his option next year. We don't need him at all and it's 2.7 million dollars in salary plus luxury tax.

We could use his roster spot on a buyout or simply TA at vet min which would save us money.

Any offer for TPE roster spot would be accepted. Second other option any vet min or second round contract player. This would also save us in luxury tax.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

I'd like to take a look at him for Portland.

Something like a straight trade of Beauchamp for Reath?

That is exactly the type of deal we would take if we didn't get a TPE. He's a center on a cheaper deal this year.

They can’t sign any buyouts that made over the non taxpayer MLE before their buyout. But they can sign anyone who made less. There will surely be someone waived after a trade that would make sense.

If the Bulls could move 2-4 of their too many guards I'd like him. He always plays hard and smart against the Bulls which I like

Bucks should do that.

Not sure if the Jazz would, but I'd cut Svi in order to try him out for the rest of the season. Trade for the rights to Peter Fehse, generates a TPE for the Bucks.

Tell me a little more about Beauchamp. Seemed to develop his outside shot a bit last year and has the measurables to play good defense, but is he just not developing any NBA skills?

The inside wrap on him is poor work ethic and maybe immature. Average run and jump athlete for a wing but moves pretty well laterally. Decent looking shot but strictly a catch and shoot guy. Can’t put the ball on the floor and find his own shot. Has shown potential as a 3/D guy in the past but his confidence looks shot. Well below average handle.
