Why for Phoenix: add a (low end) starting big
Why for philly: upgrade spacing around their 3 stars

Re: Dallas - Phoenix - Philadelphia - Charlotte
I think it is an interesting idea, I think it works for everyone, but 76-ers could be hesitant - Oubre is having a good year, better than Allen imo, and they are paying 1st to make that switch, and making a 2 for 1 trade while they also need forward / wing depth.
On the other hand, Allen is signed longer term, while they probably won't be able to retain Oubre past this year, which could be selling point for them, but I guess 76-ers fans will have a better grasp of it, so I'll leave it to them.
I think if it works for them, it works all around.

oubre is shooting 29% from 3 this year and 33% for his career.. allen is a career 41% 3 pt shooter

Re: Dallas - Phoenix - Philadelphia - Charlotte
I don’t know how to feel about it as a Dallas fan.
It’s the right value, but just really needs a fifth team? Maybe a “Dallas can figure it out later” idea but, it’s a lot easier to figure it out when you can aggregate KJ Martin with Powell, Exum, Prosper, etc for an actual upgrade.
Even though Phoenix is more pushed in than Dallas, they might be better off cutting Dallas out?

True, I glanced over his stats and misread it as 37% somehow...
I think they would need another move after this to adds some forward depth though, because overall Oubre has been good this season and even Martin contributed.

I like Allen, but not sure that he is worth the package from Philly.
I also don't really see the point of involving the Mavs, I doubt that they are interested in downgrading Gafford for some draft capitals.

Oubre has been a solid rotation piece for the Sixers regardless of his poor shooting percentages (that's not exactly what he's on the floor for...). The team lacks depth, so losing him in such a deal is not nothing. I won't argue that he's a better piece than Allen, but if that's the level of player, I imagine they'd want to find more of an additive piece to what they have rather than swapping out a guy from their top-6. I think they'd be more likely to include Drummond is such a deal.
