Jimmy Butler's camp has mentioned Phoenix as a possible landing spot. Miami is not interested in Bradley Beal. Durant for Butler would give both teams a similar positional player also toward the end of a storied career and while Durant is clearly the more talented, Butler's drive may be what Phoenix needs.
The question is, what can Miami add to get this done? Clearly Miami needs to add; Butler wants out and Durant is more talented. The add would have to be draft capital or a side deal because of the cap situations.

Re: Butler for Durant
The Heat would have to add picks and they probably shouldn't.

Re: Butler for Durant
Hm is there a three team version?
Someone else gets KD and kicks in the stuff for the upgrade. Heat get some of the stuff.
Kings with Fox?

I'd be all over that. Fox is the guy I want

Butler isn't worth Durant and Fox is worth more than both of them IMO.

Op suggests Miami kicking in extra. Just a matter of whether or not Miami can satisfy both Phoenix and Sacramento. I doubt they can.

Re: Butler for Durant
This would cost Miami at least 2 FRPs if not 3. And Suns might consider this.
KD way better then Butler
Suns should take a look at asking Beal if he ok getting traded and where he like to go, B4 trading any of the big 3

I think he's suggesting the Kings would add to Fox to get Durant.

Even better because that we should be able to do. Fox is very much who Heat fans in general seem to want.

YMMV, but I would not add anything other than filler to Fox to get Durant. It would be one thing if you could count on Durant to be healthy and on the court for 60-65 games, but you can't. The Suns aren't even .500 at the moment and huge part of that is Durant missing so many games.
