What would you do if BK has a chance at a potential big game name?

Which big name would you prefer for BK?

Giannis - give up 5 firsts and key big players on your team depleting the roster

Fox - same thing as Giannis

Zion - give up 2 1sts and expirings (now when he is a huge injury risk and his big time play might not last more than 50 more games for his career)

They do, but I can't imagine they'd buy now. They're going to want to come out of this draft with at least one highly drafted rookie before star chasing.

Ideal rebuild strategy:
First, draft one.
Second, sign one.
Third, trade for one.

I doubt Butler is a target. Younger FAs like Kuminga or Ingram are more likely, or they roll cap space over to '26 or trades.

I voted Zion. Logic aside, Zion is going to be the "cheapest" option and when he plays he is box office. Nets need to be relevant. The big concern in the NBA is that they are lacking the next "guy." It was supposed to be Zion, but he went full Barkley too early. Flag might be that guy, but who really knows. Wemby so far has the game, but he isn't like Shaq, MJ, LeBron etc. Not a diva... yet.

Get Zion, hope for the reality check to set in.
