Miami hangs up the phone so damned quickly it's not funny. The reason this whole thing started was because Miami didn't want to pay a part time player. And you offer us Kawhi?!?!?!

Because they didn’t want to pay a max extension. Leonard contract is a year shorter and he’s 3 years younger.

And he'll play 60 games over those three seasons! Riley literally came out and told Jimmy that if he wanted his extension he would need to be available! That's what pissed Jimmy off so badly.
There is no way Miami touches Kawhi

It's going to take more than a quasi prospect and a first ages from now for the Clippers to take on Beal and send out Kawhi

Jovic is a lot more than a quasi prospect. He's been amazing as of late
As high as I was/am (have a couple dozen of his RPAs), I just can't see him being much higher than, say, a BJ Boston, even with a two year gap.

I was thinking KD for Kawhi/picks but they only have one to trade. The problem trading for Kawhi is you never know his true status.
