LAL in: Nikola Vucevic, Coby White, Talen Horton Tucker
CHI in: Rui Hachimura, Dalton Knecht, Jaxson Hayes, Gabe Vincent, 2029 lightly protected Lakers FRP, 2025 LAC SRP, 2027 LAL SRP
Lakers part with Knecht and draft capital for a young creator and a starting level big that could space the floor.
Bulls deal White and Vuc for the Lakers latest draftee, a future FRP, and two seconds. Rui should also have some value as an expiring next season.
OR
LAL in: Lonzo Ball, Ayo Dosunmo, Torrey Craig
CHI in: Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, Jalen Hood-Schifino, 2028 Swap, lightly protected 2029 FRP
Lakers get a starting PG and a PG/Wing hybrid for Rui and draft capital.
Bulls get some value for an expiring Ball and part with Ayo for potentially valuable draft capital.

Re: Better LAL/CHI trade?
To start: unless the Lakers are getting an all-star the FRP is off limits I would say. First trade is more close. Probably trying to do too many things at once.
I really like the Vuc to LAL idea. Reminds me a little of LeBrons first finals run with Ilgauskas all of a sudden hitting 3's.
White is a good player, probably worth a FRP (more based on how he torches the Knicks), but I don't think that's the level the Lakers are looking at.

Re: Better LAL/CHI trade?
Not Better for the Bulls to get the same list as the last 78 ideas.
Again they have Jevon Carter at another $6.5M year and you want to add his $11M twin Gabe Vincent, right there it's a no
The other, if the Bulls trade Lonzo Ball it's no longer as an expiring $21M contract it's a quality 6th man who is already up to 38% from 3 and improving every game. He and Dosunmu are the Bulls two best defense guards and while they still have Lavine and Vucevic they need defense from somewhere.
Same as above with Vincent, Rui is just not a big difference maker Knecht has the advantage of spotting up with 2 all stars who get double coverage so he's open almost all the time, he doesn't get that edge with the Bulls. If JHS still had potential he'd be getting minutes in LA and not be a throw in.
Find a 3rd or even 4th team to take what the Lakers want to get rid of and can give the Bulls something that helps them, don;t just hang dirty laundry in the yard and think it smells fresh
