Rui is much better than Niang. Rui would be a great fit in Cleveland. He can space the floor next to Mobley or Allen and he could even play a Dean Wade type of SF roll in certain scenarios. I would love to turn Okoro and Niang into Rui if it can work financially.

I see Rui as a marginal upgrade over Niang, especially when you consider what his role would be in Cleveland, yet he's making over 2x what Niang will over the same period of time.

Really? I feel like one of US would be a "marginal upgrade" over Niang watching him powerwalk up and down the court sometimes... Obviously, most of us WOULDN'T be in reality. I just can't see it with him, and feel Rui would be a SIGNIFICANT upgrade

In a vacuum, Rui is clearly a better player than Niang. My gripe is the role in Cleveland. Is Rui really that much of an upgrade over Niang when you consider neither are plus defenders, e.g. we're talking about non-versatile stretch 4s.
Well at least we're not Detroit!
