I think they just move off Toppin and Nesmith to clear space for him. But if they do, you're going to need to provide a long term more affordable answer at center in return. Not sure the aging Lopez does it

I agree and to tie my earlier post in...I think Brook's value to aging, perfect fit MIL is much higher than old, expensive Brook's trade value. Even Turner probably isn't as good a fit, regardless of age, $$, etc.

Brook could, hypothetically go elsewhere and suddenly not look so great...then you get to re-up him and watch the descent really begin. I hope Brook ends his career with Giannis and I bet Giannis agrees.

This proposal uses the same old tactic of using a third team (the Bucks) to give up the value another team (the Lakers) is failing to provide. Basically the Lakers steal from the Bucks' pockets to (somewhat) bridge the gap between Myles Turner and Brook Lopez.
This feels like probably an unprotected first + Knecht kind of value, if the Pacers even consider this. I'd go higher if Turner wasn't an expiring.

If they move Olynyk they would want draft capital 1st.

Well you could argue the value between Olynyk and Hachimura is $4 million/year. Adding that to the books for next year ins't going to kill the Raptors plans.

It's not about killing their plans. It's about why bother doing it.

Again, if they move Olynyk, they would want draft capital +filler....not a more expensive guy.

My question is, would TOR be happy enough with Hachimura? If so, I mentioned this on the Something different Bulls/Raptors thread

the Bulls send Nikola Vucevic to LAL, this year and next which is in the Lebron/AD window
TOR gets Hachimura maybe some money for balance not a long contract not that old
Bulls get RJ Barrett with the long contract

Barrett walks in and starts at the 2 or 3 just like Lavine. This allows the Bulls the move Lavine as part of some Butler Beal huge trade, hopefully for a center, maybe a PF, start putting more teams in, PORT gets their pick back and Ayton goes to CHI would be nice
