Andrew Wiggins value
Reading this sub, people think the dubs need to attach unprotected picks just to take him. I might be in the minority, but I think he's a positive asset.
Hes gone through a tough personal issue that has obliterated his last 1.5 seasons. This year, he looks back to normal (gsw tenure).
Under 30 minutes per game and 26M this year.
17 pts/5 rebs/2 asts per game with shooting splits of 45/38/80
Ball index grades him as top 10 iso defender and hes a plus off ball defender who also has a top 10 defensive match up grade.
If the Warriors make a deal, wiggs is likely the odd man since steph, dray, kuminga, and podz are untouchables.
Warriors would likely be looking for a sf upgrade in return. They currently have a big logjam at pf with dray, jk, slomo, Santos, and moody.

Re: Andrew Wiggins value
I have him as having positive value. The problem is that GS can't really trade him for a downgrade and they can only upgrade him in a Butler situation.

He is the perfect 3rd option on a contending team.
He doesn't have a bad contract and he's not even 30 years old.
He can fit on almost any contending team.
Definitely a positive value for me.

Re: Andrew Wiggins value
Wiggins is 29 years old, 6'7", 17 pts, 4.6 rebs, 44.4% FG, 38.4% 3 pts, 56.8% TS, which is an average efficiency for SF (56.6% TS), with a very good defense. His salary is 26, 28, and 30 (PO), which is about 18% of the cap. That's a positive value in my book, and many contending teams would like to have that kind of role player. He had a personal issue for the last couple seasons, but his father has passed away.
That has been said, Warriors just aren't looking to trade him. The only scenario he might be traded is if Warriors are getting a superstar, and they need a matching salary. Unless Warriors are blowing up, and they probably won't blow up as long as Curry is playing. I don't see Wiggins being dumped.

Wiggins has a history of inconsistency. I wouldn’t want to trade for him. To me, he’s neutral at best.

The people who have posted that are very much the exception and have quickly been corrected by the board. Not sure where you think this is the driving narrative on Wiggins.

Wiggins has positive value imo
But Moody is the Warrior I'd want my team to target

I have him as a small positive, but I do think a lot of teams would view him as you do. Engaged Wiggins is a good player whose game fits on every team. But we get disengaged Wiggins too often and that guy is a drag on your team.

Yeah. I was told matching salary and Dallas’ 2025 first was not enough value for Wiggins, was a larger trade probably Butler based or something. So think the majority have him as a positive here.

Re: Andrew Wiggins value
RoLo for Wiggins, though I think some salary filler might be needed and Bucks would have to be under the second apron.
This would need some kind of follow up for a C but I think Wiggins would be good in MKE

Re: Andrew Wiggins value
I'd have his value as neutral, but to the right team I'd bet on a slightly positive return. The thing that would scare me about trading for Wiggins is that if the new situation isn't a great fit I could envision his on court value seeing a pretty significant dropoff.

Re: Andrew Wiggins value
I agree neutral at best value, we all know Wiggins isn’t a guy who can be depended on and I can’t imagine that improves outside GS after age 30. Probably one of the last guys I’d personally want to trade for.

Re: Andrew Wiggins value
There’s a lot of variability being a number one option and a positive role player, and he’s closer to the latter. Given his contract and skill set, he’s definitely a positive asset. Given his production and contract, most teams without all star wing players would love to have him. Can’t think of more than 3 or 4 teams that he wouldn’t start on and be an upgrade over one of their wings right now.
