For DET: I don't even care about the SRP. I

'd want to time it after using our $14M in cap space to get a piece, but other than that I'd be fine with Jevon Carter for Marcus Sasser straight-up

If the money works Carter $6.5 to Milton $2,875 the Bulls are only interested depending on how much of Milton's contract is guaranteed. I mean he's not jumping over anybody to play so they don't want him hanging around for 2 more years. But if he's easily released after this year, then this is great. The SRP is just whipped cream on the sundae.

The Bulls salary dump Carter and get a player making a lot less, whose next two seasons are not guaranteed contracts and they get a second round pick?

The Lakers part kind of makes sense that they trade 2 second round picks and a contract for a young player on a manageable rookie contract.

The Pistons trade a guy worth developing, even if it doesn’t work out, for a salary dump and a single second round pick?

No thanks from Detroit. Is Carter good? Average for a backup? He had one decent season in Milwaukee, other than that he’s basically a guy you’d throw a minimum wage (to slightly above) contract at.

Other than being a veteran guard, what makes him a better fit vs Sasser for Detroit?

I don’t see why Detroit would do this

How’s Sasser’s defense?

Other than being a bit small, it’s solid. He’s tenacious.

He guards POA just fine. He can’t run an offense very well, though. Undersized shooting guard that can create his own shot. Seems like a decent pairing with Reaves if there’s one good opposing guard to deal with and AR is getting cooked.
