Simple swap.
Phx get: Rui
Why? Nurkic is distgruntled. Rui isn't and can help with spacing and scoring in the frontcourt. Similar contract.
LAL get: Nurkic
Why? Balance out rotation a bit. Hope Nurk will thrive in a more well-defined back-up role behind AD, who stays at the 5.
Is this complete insanity?

I think the Lakers are due value, but the Suns shouldn't want to spend anything to make the swap.

lol definitely this

Don’t hate it or love it. It feels a need at least. I would counter with Rui is probably more playable bin the playoffs.

Agreed on both here.

I guess if the Lakers want to. I can see the Suns doing this if they don’t have to give up a 1st. Nurkic’s agent is Rich Paul so maybe he might give more effort in LA.

Yeah nah, Rui’s shooting has more value to us than what Nurkic would give

"Sure, why not? Whatever!" followed by a long sigh in frustration.
Perhaps the most boring and annying trade. In a nutshell, it probably makes some sense as it could raise the floor a little bit for each team. The problem is that it hardly raises their ceiling.

No idea what Phoenix would add but feel like LAL is owed something.
And feel like Phoenix only does it if they are moving on from Butler? And trading Allen for another center?
So if that’s the case, probably the 2025 Cavs first for the seconds LA owns?
