He has a massive bonus that is dependent on him playing 65 games, so he’s playing through everything. On top of that, his mom had a stroke. And of course the Pels have had the apocalypse of all injury seasons.
Still he’s 18.2, 8.2, 7 and 2.5 steals per 36. His play has picked up the last five or so games and in particular when Zion plays.
Yea he's finally playing well now. 30-7-7 and clutch in the 4th in this game. If Pels were just a bit more actually in realistic playoff/in range, they would be such a fun buyer team at the deadline.
Like, replacing Ingram/CJ with Lavine would be such a fun electric fit to the core. But with this record, I guess it would be organizational malpractice to make a risky salary adding trade like that, further hurting lotto odds with no shot at playoffs. Building momentum going into next season makes sense to an extent, but more eith the existing players or any younger prospect players added through a BI/CJ trade.
Murray/ Lavine/ Murphy/ Zion/ Missi

would be Showtime. *with injury luck and lack of drama..
