Cavs get: Collin Sexton, Walker Kessler and Brice Sensabaugh
Jazz get: Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, Tristan Thompson and '31 unprotected first
Why?
Cavs upgrade their bench, add a wing prospect with size and duck the tax.
Jazz add an unprotected first with upside and some players they can flip for more assets.

Re: Cavs/Jazz
Walker would be a nice piece, but he's not the versatile 4/5 Cleveland needs off the bench, and why would Cleveland want Sexton?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I think Sexton would be a great addition to the bench. We could use a scoring punch in the second unit. Any playmaking he brings is just a bonus.

Re: Cavs/Jazz
I wouldn't trade Kessler for that pick straight across so this is doa. I'd think about Sexton for LeVert and a swap or a bunch of 2nds. Sensabaugh also looks like an NBA player, this is not something we'd consider at all.

Re: Cavs/Jazz
I don’t see a reason to get another short guard. I prefer LeVert to Sexton just to have the length and flexibility to play on the wing.
But Utah doesn’t see enough value here either unless they want off of Sexton’s money.

Yeah, I'm not really rushing to see Sexton back in Cavs colours, and while Kessler maybe be a good player and target for someone, I'm not sure it's the Cavs. Adding to that, I have no real interest in dealing with Ainge again and giving him another unprotected 1st.

Utah passes. Wouldn’t do it for the pick alone and it devalues the picks the Jazz semi own for a while.

Re: Cavs/Jazz
The Cavs are not trading for Sexton. He's an abysmal fit with Mitchell and/or Garland. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say he'd be the fifth guard on our depth. He would.
