Mavs should be a really good team for the 26/27 season, which is the season beyond next. Anthony Davis is 31, they have Lively, Kyrie is 32 and should age gracefully, I think it's likely a pick in the 20s. I like much better the Spurs swap in 2030, that has a much better chance of striking gold.

As for the Miami pick, it's a mid first at the most, they have young players and could bring in more in 26 free agency, and they likely make the playoffs in 27 so the pick would convey before it becomes unprotected.

Really those picks don't look like the prize you think they are.
