As a percent of the cap, Stewart's salary over the 4 year contract:

10.67% 2024-25
9.7% 2025-26
8.82% 2026-27
8.02% 2027-28 (Team option)

His contract falls below the full MLE in 16 months, and there is a team option in the final year. That's outstanding value for a rotation player who can occasionally start.

While DET might choose to move on from Stewart at some point, he becomes more valuable as a trade chip as his salary becomes a smaller % of the salary cap.

I thoughts those were Thomason’s 3-point percentages.

Well done!

I am going to follow the advice in my sig and let it go -- especially as I couldn't come up with a better comeback than you
In a no-win argument, the first poster to Let It Go will at least retain some peace of mind

Not as if it matters, but I did like the stat I heard last week, where Thompson had more airballs from 3 last season than he did makes.
Well at least we're not Detroit!
