I get that it’s been announced, but I highly doubt KJ is ever officially a Piston. This feels like it’s going to be a 3+ team trade

Good move for both.
Detroit use up cap space , Philly took a shot that KJ salary slot could have been an asset to bring in better players if they were amongst the better team , but they aren’t so went the other way.
Sometimes your moves just don’t work and you pivot . Nothing wrong saving some cash.
