Think the rule is if an extension includes more than a 5% change in salary you have to wait out the 6 months. So no he’s not eligible

I would have thought it would be a 5% “increase” to be ineligible?

What's idiotic about it? There's a team option on the 2nd year. Is a $10M expiring contract untradable next year if it doesn't work out for some reason?
