If Randle opts in, not sure its going to be easy to get off that entire number. Nets make sense to take him and he can be a placeholder until 26 free agency, but they should ask for compensation.

And not sure where he makes the money if he opts out since Minny isn't an option for taking back money in a potential S&T if they plan on retaining Naz/NAW on market deals. I'm not seeing where they can take back $20M while paying those guys and ducking the 2nd apron. And of course I'll believe that payroll with the ARod group only when I see it.

It's easier if Randle opts out, but not easy at all if he doesn't.

Even if he opts in, they can move him by the deadline and be fine.

What do you mean by "fine"? Below the 2nd apron? The first apron? The tax line?

Randle will make $31M if he opts in. It's not really practical to clear that much at the deadline. Teams don't usually carry that much cap.

2nd apron. No reason/expectation to go below that. Don’t have to clear the full 31m.

DDR for S & T Naz Reid.

It’s a problem solver for both teams needs and if his price goes up above DDR a bit can add something.

I have questions.

1. What do you mean Naz infecting?

2. Why are the Wolves in trouble cap wise?

3. Why is DDR the best offer for Naz?

You don’t think the Spurs, Knicks, Celtics, Suns, and more would be knocking down the door to try and make a competitive offer for Naz? I don’t see the Wolves moving off their core of Ant, Jaden, Naz, and maybe NAW, but if they do it won’t be for someone over 30. Unless it’s KD and that if ****** stupid.

Fwiw Naz loves Minnesota (took less to stay here, is a massive fan favorite, Ant/Jaden love him, and so on). I wouldn’t be surprised if keeping Naz at all costs is priority #1 and he’s either number two or three least likely to be not a Timberwolf over the next few years.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.
