What kind of value or offers could the WIZARDS get this summer for him... assuming he takes his PO... With an offseason ahead to finish healing and getting in shape, he could be a difference-maker next year...at worst if he doesn't recover, he's expiring... I think teams like the Heat or the Clippers should take the risk, if it goes well it will raise them considerably... make your offers!!!

It's too early to know.

Yes, if Middleton somehow turns back the clock and starts looking like the Middleton of 2-3 years ago, then the Wizards will be able to move him for value. But he hasn't yet done that, so it this point, it's pure speculation. My guess is that Middleton will look roughly like he did this year, but maybe be a bit more healthy. That's a useful NBA player, but still a guy being overpaid at $33M. The Wizards will probably move him mid-season for a longer bad contract and a pick. The value of the pick will probably depend more on the awfulness of that returning contract than Middleton's actual on court performance.

Even fully healthy, no one’s trading for him at $33 million without dumping off bad salary. Teams aren’t trading for him, they’re trading for his expiring contract and it most likely won’t be a playoff team

A longer contract that's just as bad
