JAZZ
In: Bogdanovic/Eubanks/K.Brown/Clippers FRP 25
Out:J Collins
The Jazz get a good value, while doing the right thing by sending Collins, who has been an impeccable professional and good soldier, to play for a contender, where he fits very well with a guard like Harden... in a contract year.
CLIPPERS
In:J.Collins
Out: Bogdan/Brown/Eubanks/FRP25
Harden/Powell/Leonard/Collins/Zubac
Dunn/FA/DJJ/Batum/Simmons?
The Clippers are using their FRP, which comes in at the end of the first round, to get a starter.
While they can get a shooter in free agency with the MLE to replace Bogs...with guys like Kennard/Trent/THJ available

This feels pretty realistic to me.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Yeah, this seems like it makes too much sense, therefore, it probably won't happen. Only tiny wrinkle, which is an easy fix, if I'm not mistaken, since Utah traded Eubanks to the Clippers at the deadline, aren't they unable to reacquire him for a full calendar year unless it's via a third team and not directly from the Clips? Like I said, an easy fix as I'm sure it won't be an obstacle to find a third team with a similar salaried jag tl swap in.
Collins/Zu, assuming both keep up their play this year, would be a nice duo up front

I believe teams can’t reacquire a player they traded during that NBA year, not 12 chronological months.

Yah, done. I'd probably kick back a second or two if push comes to shove. Collins has been a really nice player and personality.

Does Collins opt in? It feels like it would be in his best interest to opt out for a longer deal.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

No teams have cap space, so yes, he will opt in.
