Oh, Deni is much closer to being a true two way player than Camara. But there’s only so few of those types of guys in the league that we can’t assign it to guys that are barely taking shots. That’s all. Deni is good, but he’s still not a guy that you can just toss the ball to to get offense going and to create buckets out of nothing. His last 5 are very solid, and why he’s much closer. But as you see, when he creates, he’s still messy. He’s had 28 assists over his last 5, and 21 turnovers to go with it.

Don’t take it as a knock. Just, “among the best two way players in the league” end up as all nba players year over year. They’re super rare, and recognized league wide as such. Deni is a really really good defender, and a good offensive player that can have great streaks.

This is why the OP mentioned "dollar for dollar". OFC those two aren't among the best two-way wings in the league. But if you factor in their salaries vs. production and view "best" through the lens of roster rather than stats? Then the OP has an argument.

He's just probably the kind of fan that doesn't grasp the implications of the salary cap and the collective bargaining agreement... or affordable defenders at the wing position with offensive skill sets that can keep them on the court

And I don't really have the patience to argue with people who are just going to pull a couple words out of context and argue against those couple words

On an unrelated side note shout out to Avdija for a second triple double of the year not that you could just give him the ball and you could play offensively or anything.... cuz you know I've heard somewhere that you can't do that just give the ball and have him play offense

Pascal siakam got one this year too the sixth in his career 1st as a Pacer but he's only 31 so maybe he'll get some more

lol, maybe you’re new here, but uh, I’m not terrible with the salary cap and collective bargaining agreement.

As for the attack on Siakam, lol. Whatevs… :dontknow: Triple doubles ARE the sole arbiter in any basketball value.

GS (Good Scoot) as opposed to BS (POR Scoot).
