assuming dame comes back healthy
Phoenix trade: KD, Beal, 29th pick
Phoenix receive: Dame, Gafford, Martin, Naji, Hardy, OMP
Dallas trade: KI, Klay, Gafford, Martin, Naji, Hardy, OMP, 13th pick
Dallas receive: KD, Beal, 29th pick
Milwaukee trade: Dame
Milwaukee receive: Kyrie, Klay, 13th pick
Why for Phoenix: retool to pair booker with an allstar PG and turn beal into front court depth
Why for Dallas: pair AD w/ KD
Why for Milwaukee: clear the books for 2026 to hopefully add a max FA to giannis. Should still make the playoffs and see what KI + Giannis can do as a test run.
(technically 2 trades of KD/Dame/Kyrie/Klay, then beal for the rest separately)

I'd KI, Klay, 13th for Dame straight up and cut out PHX...

Yeah, I wouldn’t do the Beal part.
And would prefer not to do the Dame part as the team doesn’t need to get older when walking into the pick debt. Kyrie is a huge question mark now, but I still expect the team to lock him up for 3-5 years this offseason..
Though I do understand not wanting to waste a season of AD with Kyrie injured, just not my choice.
But I wouldn’t trade Gafford, Naji, Martin (Hardy and Prosper) for Beal and a single late first. That looks really bad for Dallas?

Sounds like the Suns are going to prioritize picks in a KD trade, to whatever extent they can, but otherwise I’m fine with the return for the Suns.

i had it as
KD = KI + Klay + 13 + another 1st
and
Beal + 29 + another 1st = other fillers
so i cancelled out the 1sts
KD is worth more than Dame by a pick or so imo, which is used to pay off beal for role players here

Yeah, maybe some will like it? Just I wouldn’t trade Kyrie if he is essentially just salary filler? Which that seems to be? Especially if part of the trade is taking back the worst contract in league..and needing that contract to be a pretty important piece for the offense..
I don’t want to overpay for KD at all personally..no interest in being the Billy King Nets.. but I’d rather Dallas just pay both firsts for KD here and leave Milwaukee out of it? Or make Phoenix find a different home for Beal and just hope Kyrie comes back healthy by the play-in..
