Yeah it depends a lot on what KD wants. Also internally how the team views Green etc. I'd probably not try to trade both Green and Whitmore at once in general. that really means Houston's scoring option is KD or bust and that seems to be a bit problematic.

I mean we'll see how the playoff goes, and we haven't really seen Stone be in trading for star mode yet so we don't know for sure how he react, though so far he's usually been very solid on value propositions when he make trades.

I actually like this a lot, PHX feels like the perfect team to swallow the Zion risk because they're in too deep to properly rebuild so might as well roll the dice on Zion staying somewhat healthy and cashing in on his HOF potential. He's a pretty good fit with Booker too

Zion feels like a pretty bad fit in Houston, no? At least with Sengun and Amen, if those are your long-term core pieces? KD is more seamless, and while you definitely run the risk of him falling off the age cliff any day he feels like a good immediate upgrade to J Green for the price of just one of many future firsts

I can totally picture Ishbia saying to Bartelstein, “this is just crazy enough to work!”
