CWhite/Vuc/#12/Port pick for Zion
NO rebuilds, adds White and a late lottery pick. The Port pick should convert between 2026-28. Vuc eats minutes at the 5 and is expiring
Bulls try
Giddey/Ayo
Huerter/Ball
Matas/Phillips
Zion/PWill
Collins/Smith

Re: Zion to Chi
New Orleans doesn't need White, IMO. Replace him with the Portland first? Seems like a reasonable price here.

Re: Zion to Chi
Fire AK or whoever does this. The Bulls give up a lottery pick which some teams can do but the Bulls have given up too many in the past 5 years for it to be sane to give up 2. Anyone who ignores Zion's injury history gets what he deserves but you're depth chart shows why you should be thinking it's a horrible idea. When Zion goes down, you're going to be starting Patrick Williams for how many games? You're endorsing that?
I much prefer a back court of
Giddey Ball Jones
White Huerter #12
trade Vucevis for a SF
RJ Barrett even if it takes a 3rd or 4th team
Barrett Phillips
Buzelis Williams
Collins Smith
keep those picks

Re: Zion to Chi
I think you include Pat Williams rather than White.
Williams + Vuc + 12 + PDX FRP.
I think thats a good deal of value for the risk Zion brings - but getting off Pat's deal is worth a bit.

I have to imagine someone out there beats this offer for Zion, Williams is a total bust and Vuc is probably not even worth his cap space.

Man, if we could keep White and include PWill that's be AWESOME-I doubt NO would do it. PWill looks broke now, and has 4 more years (worst medium-sized contract in the league)

Re: Zion to Chi
Chicago shouldn’t be trading for Zion off of some last season decent run.
But they really shouldn’t do it if it costs Coby, given the lack of talent on the roster already.
I think Chicago doesn’t get to dump Patrick Williams here, but can match in other ways (Carter and Ayo).. and add a protected future first?
Still think CLT would top this offer. If Brooklyn isn’t going to commit to tank in 2026, they can top this offer without using their 2025 first.
