Lauri/Gafford to Sac, Demar/Monk to Dallas

Post#1 » by jayjaysee » Sat Apr 19, 2025 10:43 pm

It’s too big yeah. But trying it anyways.

Sacramento: Demar, Monk, 2026 SAC first, 2031 Minn first
Sacramento: Lauri, Dalton and Prosper (into TPE if needed)

Sac improves their starting line up. Trades future assets, but gets a low end prospect and a worse one. Keep control of their own picks after next season in case they decide this group doesn’t work.

Dallas: Klay, Gafford, Martin, Prosper, 2029 LAL first
Dallas: Demar and Monk

Dallas improves its offense. Monk and Kyrie should be able to share the court enough. Demar should be able to be called a starter, while mostly playing against second units and probably not being in closing lineups..

LAL: Maxi, Vincent, Vando, Dalton
LAL: Gafford, Klay, Martin

Upgrade center and shuffle other pieces?

Utah: Lauri
Utah: Maxi, Vincent, Vando, Shakes, 2026 Sac first, 2029 LAL first, 2031 Minn first

Yeah, Utah has to buy out 2-3 of these guys or flip them before the offseason if over. But only one has long term money? 3 future firsts isn’t bad?

I think that Minnesota first should be the 2028 SAC 1st, but its another fun idea. I dont hate it for Dallas, like it a lot for LA, and I dont really have faith in Sacramento but they'd have assets to try to add to their core after.

I like Monk but not at the expense of Gafford. I am not keen on DDR.

Monk for Mavs pick with non-core fillers like Hardy, Martin and so on. Is Sactown interested?

I like Monk for 11 but I’m not sure Sac will.

Yeah, I think Martin, Hardy, Powell, 11 is a much better trade for Dallas’ sake. Or the LAL 2029 first if they can keep 11 out of it..

But I dont know who the third team is that makes that deal work for Sac? I wouldn’t just be trading Monk if I were them, would want to move off of Demar and Monk..

To try one Off the OP..

Rozier, Hardy, Powell to Utah
Martin and Lauri to Sac
Monk to Dallas
Demar to Miami

and you decide what picks Utah gets from Sac and Dallas?

Lauri could be gettable and he'd be fun in Sacramento, but I'm not really sure it helps the Kings if they want to win. Him and Sabonis as your 2 biggest guys? Ugh.
