FVV and Jabari to Sac
Demar, Cam, 2025 Phoenix first to Phoenix
Monk and KD to Phoenix

Delay the trade for the first to count as matching salary seems to make it legal? I like Monk too much, so probably need something from Sac to Houston?

Sac adds to their youth movement, but brings in an actual point guard and improves their defense with Sabonis?

Houston doesn't need Monk, and Jabari is not on the table for this deal.

I think Monk fits on a Houston team without FVV? Think with the other playmakers Houston would have, they could start Monk/Green. But again, I do like Monk too much.

But that part is easily cut out if Houston prefers to keep Jabari...

Send Monk to Dallas, send Gafford to Phoenix, Naji to Sac and figure out what else Dallas owes to Phoenix (or Sac) there. No idea.

Kings would Spurs/Minny to augment those lost picks.

We'd definitely try to find a home for DeRozan (and Val).

Kings do that IMO. Throw MLE at Tyrus Jones.

After thinking more, this is the type of move I’d expect from Sac. I could see Danny wanting to much so maybe it’s not this specific deal but something of this picks package for an upgrade variety.

I don’t see how Perry/Vlade/Vivek would say no to this deal. I could see trying to use the Spurs 27 instead of the Sac 28 but it should not be a deal breaker.

I'd start with Lavine for MPJ/Nnaji. Get size on the wing. Then convert DDR to Jrue. DDR to the Mavs. Gafford/Martin to Boston (or redirect Gafford to the Hawks, if Boston prefers the savings).

Jrue/Monk/Murray/MPJ/Sabonis
Carter/Ellis/LaRavia/Lyles/JV

Well that sounds familiar! The old LaVine for Porter and Nnaji! Is lavine still negative same as Nnaji?

Idk if DEN needs Lavine, Russ and Braun are a solid backcourt rotation. Would SAC be open to something around Keegan + salary for MPJ?

How bad is..

Smart and Anderson to Sacramento
Demar to Miami
Rozier and 2nds to Washington

(Assuming the Miami 2026 cap space plan is dead)

Miami trims 11 million, which should be running the team back with Mitchell and staying under the tax.. Sac adds two good defensive vets..

You could build that into a KD to Miami trade pretty easily (Demar, Duncan, assets to Phoenix) if that makes it better to you..

I think that the kings could retool this summer with something like this:

Kings trade Derozan
Kings receive Tobias Harris

Pistons trade Harris
Pistons Receive Derozan

Pistons move Harris out of the forward rotation so that their young players can log more minutes while adding a starting 2 guard that will raise the over all offensive fire power level. This gives the pistons a 3 guard rotation of Cade, Ivy and Derozan.

Kings Trade Lavine and the spurs 27 1st and the worse of the kings or spurs 31 1st
Kings receive Sexton and Collins

Utah trades Sexton and Collins
Utah Receives Lavine and 2 first round picks

Utah does this for the picks and Lavine is potentially a good piece next to Markanen while flagg develops.

The kings make these trades to put a coherent team on the floor that doesn't have any major weaknesses and can probably compete in the playoffs. This team has solid balance between offense and defense and is very deep. I personally also like the idea of adding a bigger forward and moving Keegan Murray to small forward.

Sexton/Carter
Monk/Ellis
Murray/Laravia
Collins/Harris
Sabonis/Valanciunas

I don't understand the Scott Perry hire. What does he bring to the table in his approach to building a roster or overseeing a rebuild. Is he the faction inside the Knicks that was setting aside roster spots (Nerlens Noel) and draft selections (Immanuel Quickley) for Kentucky players? I can't remember who it was in the Knicks front office, but I remember somebody saying a famous quote, something like, "we want to be a landing spot for Kentucky guys without a spot." Is Scott Perry that same exec?
