Cleveland/Brooklyn

Cavs: Garland

Brooklyn: Johnson, 2025 Knicks 1st, 2027 Knicks 1st

Brooklyn gets a young foundational piece to begin to build around

Cavs get some assets and open up money to make up for Mobleys pay increase and resigning Jerome.

hmm I might accept this. Love Garland and he's a really good point guard. The thing is I see the Nets drafting a point guard in this class, either Fears or Jakucionis, depending on where they pick. But this might be a trade BK has to accept.

Wow...if you're thinking about moving Garland, he'd sure look good in ORL

We're not.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Probably would need Suggs and 4 1sts

I can see the logic in this trade, but I would probably want a better player than Johnson coming back. Maybe Cleveland could route the player/picks back to NY for Bridges?

Obviously we will wait to see what happens in the playoffs.

I would consider Franz. Not Suggs, coming off of whatever injury he has.
