This only happens if NOP is left out of the top 2 and Harper is lost in the Draft...
The simple version would be Reaves + Swap in 2032 for Herb Jones.
I think the value would be fair. The swap would be added to compensate for Herb's extra financial year..
The Lakers would do it to put a defensive ace next to Luka.
NOP with a new GM and after seasons derailed by injuries and with Murray missing at the beginning of the season, they get a guard bordering on all-star level, so they don't lose their stride from the start. Herb is more valuable for a contending team, but Reaves would be better for a team that wants to get there. Also, he would fit very well next to Murray when he recovers.
The Magic version includes...
The Lakers sent Knecht instead of Swap
Mccollum/Knecht to MAGIC
Isaak/KCP/Reaves to NOP
Herb Jones/Houston to LAKERS

Is Herb still an all nba defensive level kind of guy?
Data looks meh, but also team sucked lately and so many injuries

I think AR can be a #3 on a championship winning team, but will be tough with a defender like Luka and an old Lebron who can onky play solid D in spurts/certain games
I think the more prudent thing for us to do is to use Knecht/1st+salaries (Gabe, Maxi, Vando) + our MLE to get a C and bring in a couple other guys. Lebron takes a big paycut to get the bigger mle if possible
Luka, Lebron, AR, Rui, DFS, C, 2 new guys as the main pieces
Moving AR reminds me of trading for Russ. We lost to the Suns that year b/c AD got hurt. Not sure if we need to panic here, at least go into the reg season and see how we look with a competant C or two and another couple rotation pieces

The Pelicans are not doing this without getting a actual 1st round pick.

this magic fan would be fine..if cj does not fit saves 30 mill in 26/27 when paolo contract kicks in with out giving a first ...cost a lot of defense but think black and houston/silva can step in for yr and go from there...would add both magic 2nds this yr to sweeten it for pels to make it work

Don't like the fit. Herb's data from last year is a bit of a wash both because of the injuries of everyone else and the relatively small sample size.
