Can someone help me understand what Morant is elite at? I’m genuinely not trying to sound hyperbolic, I don’t follow the team and I don’t want to just look at stats because they don’t paint the best picture at all for Morant and want to know what am I missing?

With his injuries, off court antics, contract why would a team trade premium superstar assets for him?

Serious question.

Ja is an elite downhill driver and elite passer.

Though he is not a good 3pt shooter he has a solid midrange game and is an elite post/mid post finisher.

He also has an exceptional BBIQ which allows him to use both his elite speed and playmaking to make his teammates better. His ability to raise the play of others is something very few players have.

IF Ja is healthy he is a ceiling raiser.

He is also literally unguardable 1x1. And deadly in clutch.
