Nurkic (exp)/NSJ/Dal 1st for White makes a lot of sense

BOS looking to cut some payroll, make some compromises...not go insane! :nonono:

That package MIGHT get them on the phone for Holiday.

White is probably the 2nd least likely of the starters to get moved after Tatum. He is the glue.

What is your evaluation of NAW?

Which playoff teams do you think have interest in NAW and have the Non-Tax MLE?

I think he's a solid 3 and D player that many teams can use. The Thunder,Warriors,Pacers,Pistons, and Clippers are all playoffs teams that could be under the 1st tier apron enough to open up a full Mid Level Exception and the Clippers/Pistons can easily use another 3 and D guard.

I wish I had confidence that the new Wolves ownership was willing to pay luxury taxes.

If CHA was going to offer Nickeil Alexander-Walker (3/45.7 Million, MLE with 8% Raises, starts at $14.1), I would hope MIN would counter with, “would you stay here for $12 a year, and PO on Year 3?”

What is the best package they could get for Lamelo? I’d trade him for that and build around B Mill and this years first, which is hopefully Flagg

They should get one with their lotto pick (Flagg or Bailey at PF or else a guard). MLE should get one. The other two are tougher. Perhaps an older option available as a high 2nd can come in and be useful. Perhaps an early 2nd can upgrade someone. Perhaps they can find some cheap that's playable (some teams do this regularly but Charlotte generally hasn't).

I agree we need 4 nba level starters to compete and I think at least 2 of them should be vets.

Lotto pick takes care of 1
I expect to see Mark williams traded which could be 2
Nurk will be an expiring deal next year. We also have 3 xtra picks moving forward and all our own firsts.
We also have 2 early picks in round 2 this year, package them to move up or draft 2 extra guys

So if we pick 6 or 7, draft Trae Johnson, try to use our 2nds and, or Mark Williams to move back into the first and grab a center.

Get the best player we can for the mid level.

If the Warriors are not in the playoff picture early next season call and ask about a Steph curry deal
