DAL trades: Max Christie, Naji Marshall, Daniel Gafford, Jaden Hardy, 11
MEM trades: Desmond Bane
Memphis backfills their roster with several good rotation players and a lottery pick. Dallas gets a credible second option while Kyrie is out who will also look excellent playing off of both Kyrie and AD.

Mavs say yes, no take backsies, but I don't see Grizzlies doing this.
3 rotation players, none is starter quality + 11th pick isn't enough for near all star level player.

Re: Bane to Dallas
I like it...and I think it's an offer the Grizzlies couldn't refuse, maybe too good, considering Bane's salary...sign CP3 after this...we'll need a good playmaker to take advantage of the elite centers we have.

I'm only posting because a Memphis fan seemed to like it and several liked Bane for Sharpe. I dont get it, either, frankly.

I do like this more than the Sharpe one for them.

Re: Bane to Dallas
Feels like a bit of an overpay for Dallas. Im high on Marshall, especially with his contract. Christie could be a starting level 2 guard. Gafford is a decent C. Dallas giving up 3 of their best defensive players AND a lottery pick for Bane doesn’t feel like the move they need to make.

Re: Bane to Dallas
The general idea of the trade is good, but it's not quite enough value being sent out by Mavericks in order to get Desmond Bane. I think this is a 1st round pick short.

You kidding?
Bane is an A- asset. A legit star, though a low end one, but certainly the best shooter in the entire NBA behind we all know whom. At least 3d best player in most NBA teams, if not every. The Dallas assets are just regular players and the mediocre 1st. Memphis can easily get any of them at the price way lower than Bane. Unless Pera decides to hire an idiot to FO, I see no chance from the Memphis perspective.
