Ainge traded Fontecchio for a very early 2nd, and then a couple of years ago he is paid an early 2nd to take on Fontecchio. Classic Weaver move, he not in Detroit anymore, but if Detroit renounces Schroder/THJr/Beasley, to get cap space and go after someone else (they shouldn't) this could be a good buy low for Detroit, considering Okoro is familiar with JB and his skillset would be really good for us.

Duren / Stew
Tobias / 19ish mil FA
Ausar / Ron
Ivey / Okoro / Sasser
Cade / Ivey

I'd be pretty happy to take Fontecchio back and see if he looks good again in Hardy's system. I quite liked him, I was surprised he didn't work out in Detroit.

Seconded.

I was surprised as well, but I don’t think Fontecchio was healthy last season. If Pistons are Moving Fontecchio and a pick, I’d prefer to see a shooter coming back.

I’d do a 3 way with Celtics

Cavs - Hauser
Celtics - TPE
Utah - Okoro

Celtics get even a bigger TPE because Okoro salary is 13 million next year.

How are the Celtics getting TPE for Okoro who is not a Celtic? That is not how this works.

The point is to save money for Cleveland, this defeats the point. Cleveland also has Merril who I think they can resign for cheaper than Hauser.
