I don’t think the CLT does the OP if Brooklyn added 19th.

Yes Ace at 3, VJ at 4 because of physical tools. However, have significant flaws and certainly arent strong 3rd and 4th picks historically.

I’ve seen Johnson, Queen, Maluach, even Fears & Knueppel in the top 4 from credible analysts. I’ve also seen those same guys mocked in the 11-20 area from equally credible analysts.

It’s not me saying it, just a report I happen to agree with.

I have not seen a single mock draft that doesn’t have the top 4 laid out like that.

The 5th pick? Yeah I’ve probably seen 6-8 names in that spot.

That’s why when Dallas was drafting 11th, I really had no idea if we could get Fears or were going to settle with Jak or Jace. Though I think Jace is going to be really good in the NBA..

Luckily, we gave Luka to the Lakers so we don’t have to pick 11th.

Vecenie’s pre-lotto mock had Johnson 3rd. Hollinger’s version had Knueppel at 4. Bleacher Report with Maluach at 3 today.

I also think Jase is going to be awesome in the NBA. Vecenie has him going at 20, which is an example of why I’m hesitant to give up #19.

Lots of talent in this class, just more evenly distributed than usual outside the top 2.

Jase's measurements are a big knock on his value/outlook.

6’6 wingspan is pretty impressive.

6’ tall isn’t great but we always knew he was short.

Tier 1: Flagg
Tier 2: Harper
Tier 3a: Edgecombe, Bailey
Tier 3b: Johnson, Maluach, Knueppel, Fears
Tier 3c: Queen, Jakucionis

Some will argue there's full tier separation between 3a, 3b & 3c. Some combine 3a & 3b, others combine 3b & 3c. Personally, I think Bailey's disappointing measurements combined with Rutgers' disappointing season might cast some doubt around whether he's truly a cut above the 3b & 3c prospects.

I'm not an expert on all of these players, but I don't see a need to move from #8 to #4 due to a drop off. If you can find the Nets a way to get to #2, I'm all ears.
