Porzingas and Hauser have no value to Portland.
Ayton expires after next season. So, either he plays "next contract ball" and can possibly be moved for a small amount of value at the trade deadline, the Blazers retain him in the off-season at a lower price, or he simply walks in free agency. No real pressure to move him.
Now, something like #11 for #19+#26+getting out of Grant's contract piques my interest. Emphasis on contract. Grant is still a productive player that could fill a role starting on a championship tier team. He's just massively overpaid. Ayton, Simons, and Timelord expiring after next season gives Portland a lot of flexibility - especially if they can get out of Grant's contract.
I can't see how you dump a contract as big as Grant in an 11 for 19/26 swap.
But yeah sounds like all the Portland guys hate adding KP and see no value in a locked up cheap shooter with size so this deal is a miss for them.
I had 3 pt shooting as an area to upgrade though as Portland was one of the worst shooting teams in the league. Hence the guys in the deal.
On to the next one though.
