Sorry Another AD Trade w/ Mia & Mem

I can't help myself so my bad, I just don't want to start next season with Nico's pupil on my favorite team. Of course the only way he's traded is if Nico is terminated.

If this is untenable, let loose, if it can be salvaged, plz propose how. I'm thinking Dallas is owed FRP or 2 from Miami, but how many and when can Mia trade them via Steifen rule?

Miami Receives: AD, Jaden Hardy
Grizz Receives: Tyler Herro
Mavs Receive: Desmond Bane, Duncan Robinson, Kyle Anderson

Miami gets the best player, who can play the vast majority of his minutes at the 4 with Bam & Ware. If anyone can find gems at the guard position, it's Heat culture

Dallas gives me hope. Bane fills a huge hole at the guard spot for much cheaper than paying AD when they should have Flagg/PJ/Lively/Gaff. Slo Mo while another forward, can help the 2nd unit with facilitating/creating. Duncan can make the FO tell Klay to kick rocks.

There's also no way Dallas trades AD for Desmond Bane either so soon after the Luka/AD trade. Unless they get a really high pick to draft a young talent, they're probably going to ride AD and fail to do anything until the wheels completely come off.

The Luka trade can't wind up yielding 3 weeks of Anthony Davis, one future 1st, Max Christie, and Desmond Bane. That's just not going to happen

Agreed. As mentioned trading AD will only happen if Nico is gone. Sunk cost, new FO shouldn't keep AD because of optics

I agree that an AD trade should happen, but we are talking about the people that traded Luka for a 32yo AD, which is comfortably the stupidest move I've ever seen in my 20+ years of watching basketball. I refuse to believe Nico is the only person in that room that glued themselves to the idea of Anthony Davis leading their franchise

(unless of course they knew they were going to get a chance to build around Flagg which is a totally different conversation in itself lol)

I'd love to move AD, considering other teams that would make a real leap forward with his acquisition. How about the HAWKS? Risacher/Niang/Mann (with OO to a 3-team for a FRP or a guard) for AD/Klay (TPE) or the KINGS for Lavine/Carter and a handful of picks.

I would call it quite enticing given how much damage AD caused to Memphis, but my brothers might feel different, so I would listen to them

I actually like AD on Memphis and Bane on the team that should of drafted him in 2020.

What would Mem be willing to add to make it fair? Two firsts? A first and Edy? Something entirely different?

I would just move AD for Paul George and #3 and #35 or something like that if im Dallas and Nico is fired and we want to punt quickly.
